After a long discernment process, Fr. Chris obtained a Bachelor of Theology and Masters of Divinity from Huron University College. Upon graduation he was ordained to the diaconate in the Spring of 2010 and later to the priesthood in Fall 2010.

Fr. Chris came to St. John's on August 1, 2010 and was inducted as rector in June 2011. He currently works on the Diocesan Golf Committee and the Doctrine & Worship Committee.

Since joining the parish, Fr. Chris has worked to revitalize the parish focusing on discipleship and biblical studies programs to serve and strengthen the community.
